Sauna Rituals & Ceremonies in Norwich
A grounding, nature-led sauna experience to help you release, reset and reconnect.
I offer sauna rituals, ceremonies and seasonal workshops inspired by traditional Lithuanian pirtis practices, blended with my love of heat, nature and therapeutic touch. These sessions are deeply restorative — a space to unwind, soften, breathe and return to yourself.
What Is a Sauna Ritual?
A sauna ritual is more than sitting in the heat.
It’s a slow, sensory journey that weaves together warmth, breath, steam, scent and mindful presence.
Guided with intention, each ritual uses:
– Heat to soften and cleanse
– Steam (löyly) to open breath and release tension
– Natural scents and botanical infusions
– Vanta (leafy branches) for circulation and grounding
– Moments of rest, breathwork and cool-down
– Nature-led elements that shift with the seasons
These ceremonies honour the sauna as a sacred place for cleansing, renewal and emotional reset.

My Approach
My sauna offerings are shaped by my connection to nature, my Thai bodywork training and years of experience hosting rituals for local sauna communities in Norwich.
I aim to create a space where you feel:

– Connected to your breath and your senses
– Supported through warmth, rhythm and presence
Each ritual is gentle but powerful — a blend of grounding ceremony and therapeutic heat that allows the body and mind to let go.

What to Expect in a Ritual Session
Every sauna experience is different, but rituals may include:
Guided Breathwork
To help you settle, release tension and arrive fully in the body.
Botanical Steam & Natural Scents
Using pure forest oils, herbs or infused waters to open the senses.
Vanta Work (Leaf Whisks)
Sweeping, tapping and brushing techniques that stimulate circulation and calm the nervous system.
Heat & Cool Cycles
Inspired by traditional pirtis practice — moving between warmth and coolness to support detoxification, grounding and clarity.
Mindful Rest
Time in between rounds to lie down, breathe, and simply be.
Seasonal Elements
Each ceremony is shaped by nature — plants, light, weather, scent and the energy of the season

Sauna Workshops
I also teach workshops that blend movement, self-massage and sauna:
Thai Ruesi Dat Ton (Self Massage)
A series of therapeutic movements and self massage designed to release muscular tension, improve agility and support the body’s natural coordination. This practice pairs beautifully with the heat of the sauna.
Wat Pho Ruesi Dat Ton-Inspired Postures
Traditional Thai self stretching - self massage exercises to relieve tightness and encourage mobility, often called Thai yoga.
Sauna & Ritual Wisdom
Learn the foundations and etiquette of heat, steam, scent and safe sauna practice, for your business or home sauna.
I offer workshop based experiences for groups or individuals who want to embrace sauna tradition.


Heat has been a powerful part of my own healing — physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Working with saunas over the past three years has deepened my connection to nature, ritual and the grounding wisdom that comes from slowing down.
Sauna brings people together.
It softens the edges of life.
It creates a space where breath, warmth and presence become medicine.
